Attendance Requirements
The following are the requirements for attendance at Encampment:
- Current Member in CAP with at least 6 months in CAP and at least a rank of c/Amn.
- At least age 12, 13 preferable.
- A completed Application Packet (with two CAPF 31s signed by your unit commander) mailed in prior to the deadline.
- All mandatory items of the Required Equipment Packing List
- No contraband of the Contraband List
Read the Rules and Regulations completely before coming to Encampment.
You must complete 80% of the training in order to graduate from encampment. Participation at 100% of ability in all aspects is expected, and required from every student attending Encampment.
If you have any medical condition or behavioral health problem which would prevent you from being an active participant at encampment, or if you have recently had any type of medical procedure, please consult with the Encampment Director of Medical Affairs before applying for encampment. All conversations and correspondence with the Encampment Director of Medical Affairs are confidential.
Dress Code for Cadet Social
Physical Fitness
Students must be prepared to do PT every morning. This includes a run of up to a mile and calisthenics. Failure to be in physical condition to perform this activity will be a hardship for the student.

See: the Application Packet. Every effort is made to make the encampment affordable for everyone.
If you are a PAWG cadet and there is a financial situation which would prevent you from attending encampment, please do not let this deter you. Check first with your squadron commander to see if any financial assistance is available, as many squadrons have resources available for this purpose. If not, have the appropriate person in your squadron check with their respective Group to see what assistance is available. If you are unable to secure any assistance from either of these, please e-mail the
regarding your situation. There is available limited funding at this level to assist those cadets most in need.
